MMUnion building goes wireless

On 23 Novemeber 2007 in a meeting with university officials which included Jerry Niman (Head of IT department), it was suggested by executive officers that just like all other campuses WiFi facility should be provided in Students Union building as it will be quite useful for students.

This was taken up positively by university and for last couple of weeks the university has been quite busy installing the Wireless routers around the building and I am glad to say that they are now in full working condition. You can access internet in any part of the building whether it be bar, cafe or meeting room you just need to have your laptop with you.

You can only access internet if you are student of MMU as you need ur ID and password to login.

Will keep you updated with more good news...
